I am passionate about the present and future of Behavioral Strategy. I am excited about understanding how managers adapt their firms’ strategic actions in response to performance feedback. I build on psychological and organizational theories and use many diverse methods including psycho-linguistic analysis to better understand how managers interpret feedback. My research is published in Strategic Management Journal, Strategic Organization, Journal of Management Studies, Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice, British Journal of Management, Frontiers in Psychology, etc.. I serve on the editorial board of Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, and Frontiers in Psychology.
I am Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada. I received my PhD in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from St. Gallen University, my MBA from Sheffield Hallam University, and my MA in Linguistics from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich.
