Margaret Cording is a Professor of Strategy at IMD. Her research seeks to enhance management's ability to implement key strategic initiatives such as post-merger integration. Margaret Cording's research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review and Strategic Organization. She has co-edited a book on business ethics and written numerous cases on post-merger implementation. Prior to joining IMD, Margaret Cording was an assistant professor of management at Rice University, based in Houston, Texas. She held several senior level management positions at Chase Manhattan Bank (currently JPMorgan Chase), including Managing Director and head of Foreign Exchange sales. She also held positions in strategic planning and investment banking during her tenure at Chase.
