Douglas Hannah is an Assistant Professor at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. His research addresses how entrepreneurs navigate and innovate within nascent industries and ecosystems. For example, recent projects examine how knowledge flows between firms shape the adoption and implementation of various technologies, how the choice of a business model affects a firms’ subsequent investment in capabilities, and how entrepreneurs engage in simultaneous search across multiple technology and market opportunity landscapes. This work pairs inductive multiple-case methods and formal game theoretic modeling, and has been published in Strategic Management Journal and Strategy Science. Doug received his PhD from Stanford University.
