Dr. Wei Jiang is the Dean of School of Management of Zhejiang University and is honored as Changjiang Young Scholar by Chinese Ministry of Education. He serves as the Director of Academy of Global Zhejiang Entrepreneurs at Zhejiang University and also the Deputy Deanof the University’s Institute of China's Science, Technology and Education Policy. Dr. Wei’s primary research interests center around innovation management, strategic management and industrial cluster (cluster innovation system and regional innovation system). He has published 16 books and over 300 academic publications, and serves on the editorial board of scholarly journals such as International Journal of Business and Systems Research, R&D Management, Journal of Knowledge Studies, etc. He is the project leader of 12 NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of China) projects, and dozens of provincial scientific projects. He is the member of the State Council’s Business Administration Discipline Committee, founding chair of Chinese Strategic Management Scholar Forum, initial founder member of BRICS and key member of CICALICS, and members of editorial review board of Asia Pacific Journal of Management, International Journal of New Virtual Organization and Management and Organization Review. Dr. Wei has also been actively involved in management consulting and serves as the advisor and board member of leading Chinese companies including Haier Group, CIMC, Wanxiang Group, etc. Dr. Wei has a Ph.D. degree in Management Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University, and worked as a visiting scholar in Harvard, MIT, Cambridge University, Manchester School of Management, etc.
