Dennie Kim is a PhD candidate in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, and will be joining the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. His dissertation research examines the design and performance of whole organizational networks in healthcare delivery, specifically examining Medicare Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). This work is supported by the Carlson Dissertation Fellowship and the Strategic Research Foundation. More broadly, his research interests include networks, complex systems, and application of strategy research to health policy and reform. He earned his AB from Harvard University in Biology, and has spent several years working in the healthcare industry, first as a strategy consultant at the Decision Resources Group, and then as a project manager in Surgical Services Administration at Brigham & Women's Hospital.
