Thomas Mellewigt holds the chair of Strategic Management at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. His research focus on cooperative strategy uses primarily organizational economics to investigate the appropriate design and effective governance of strategic alliances and buyer-supplier relationships. His work has been published in international journals such as Strategic Managemten Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Retailing, and Journal of Business Venturing. He teaches a variety of classes in bachelor, master, doctoral, and executive programs. He won three times the “Best Teaching Award” of the School of Business and Economics at his university.
