Gerard (Gerry) George is Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship who serves as the Director of the Rajiv Gandhi Centre at Imperial College in the UK. He is AIM Innovation Fellow of the UK's Economic and Social Research Council. His book (with Adam Bock) Inventing Entrepreneurs: Technology Innovators and their Entrepreneurial Journey (Prentice Hall, 2008) addresses the human side of innovation and technology transfer. He serves on the editorial boards of the AMJ, AMR, JBV, and SEJ. Before joining Imperial, he held tenured positions at the London Business School and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An award-winning researcher and teacher, Gerry George has published several articles in leading scholarly journals on the topics of resource constraints in entrepreneurial firms, value creation, and innovation in large and small organizations.
