Elizabeth L. Rose is Professor of Management at the University of Otago, having previously held appointments at University of Southern California, University of Auckland, Victoria University of Wellington, and Aalto University. She holds a BSE from Princeton University and an MSE, an AM, and a PhD from University of Michigan. Her work on international strategy has been published in a variety of outlets, including the SMJ. In addition to her SMS Global Strategy Interest Group responsibilities, she is currently a vice president of the Academy of International Business (AIB) and chairs the research committee for the Academy of Management’s International Management Division. Elizabeth Rose is also the founding chair of the AIB’s Australia and New Zealand chapter, served two terms as president of the Australia and New Zealand International Business Academy, and is a past president of the Association of Japanese Business Studies.
