Xena Welch Guerra

Xena Welch Guerra is Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, in the Netherlands. Her research interest lies in the area of Corporate and Behavioral Strategy. Building on theories related to organizational decision-making, learning, and adaptation, her research examines how different organizational actors contribute to M&A decisions, how organization design impacts M&A behavior and performance, and how acquisitions contribute to the renewal and reconfiguration of firms. She completed her PhD at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland, where it obtained the Peter-Werhahn-Award for the best dissertation of the year, and was a visiting PhD student at INSEAD and the University of Cambridge.
