Hans Frankort is a Reader in Strategy at the Business School (formerly Cass), City, University of London, and he held visiting positions at UC Berkeley, the University of Toronto, the University of Crete, and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He obtained his PhD from Maastricht University. Hans’s research focuses on the antecedents and consequences of interpersonal and interorganizational relationships, and the drivers and effects of employee effort and its correlates. His research has received several awards, including the Robert J. Litschert Award by the AOM’s Strategic Management Division, and has been published in, among others, Academy of Management Journal, Advances in Strategic Management, Industrial and Corporate Change, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Journal of Management, Research Policy, and Strategic Management Journal. Hans serves on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of Management Studies, and the Strategic Management Journal. He teaches strategy and quantitative methods courses across MSc, MBA, and (Executive) PhD programs.
