Duncan Angwin MA (Hons), PGCE, M.Phil., MBA, PhD, is the Dean of the University of Nottingham Business School in the UK, and Professor in Strategic Management. He is best known for his Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Strategy research, which focuses mainly on the practices of strategists, with over 50 refereed journal articles in journals such as Academy of Management Learning & Education, California Management Review, Journal of World Business, Long Range Planning, MIT Sloan Management Review, Organization Studies. He has authored 12 books, won numerous conference paper awards and sits on several editorial boards, including Journal of Management Studies. He has taught in over 20 countries and is active in executive education and corporate advice. He has won in excess of €10m in research grants and currently researches M&A communications and practices, strategy practices and international management.
