Membership in the SMS
We welcome any individual, who is active in the Strategic Management field, either as academic scholar or teacher, as business practitioner, or in a consulting capacity, to join the Strategic Management Society, the premier organization dedicated to the Strategic Management field, as a member.
Through regular international meetings and conferences; through two outstanding scholarly journals, the Strategic Management Journal and the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal; through the activities and networking provided by the Interest Groups; through the recognition of excellence provided by its awards and honors program, the Strategic Management Society was instrumental in forming the field of Strategic Management and continues to service and provide a home for professionals involved in this area. Join us and be an involved contributor to the field of Strategic Management!
A Note For Institutions
While SMS does not have an institutional membership, there are several ways in which your firm or school can be involved.
- Co-host the Annual International Conference; as has been done by IESE and the University of Navarra in Barcelona, or by the Boston Consulting Group in Orlando, Florida, or is done this year by the Boston Consulting Group in Orlando and by Booz Allen Hamilton for our conference in Vienna.
- Propose and plan a special conference.
- The SMS sponsors the Strategy Research Foundation and solicits support from co-sponsors.
If any of these options are of interest to you, please contact the SMS Executive Office at sms-deleteme[at]-deleteme-strategicmanagement [dot] net.
