SMS Service Medals
The SMS Gold and Silver Medals are granted in recognition of outstanding services rendered to the SMS and/or the field of Strategic Management by individuals and or institutions. Honorees may or may not be members of the SMS.
For Gold and Silver Medals, the SMS strives for a balanced recognition across the Academic, Business and Consulting categories when choosing nominees and recipients. The current SMS Board of Directors are not eligible. An individual or institution may be eligible to receive both a Gold Medal and a Silver Medal, sequentially.

The Executive Committee will make Nominations for the Gold Medal award upon the recommendation of the Honors and Awards Committee.
