David Parthiban

David Parthiban holds the Rath Chair in Strategy at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma where he teaches strategic management. His research focuses on the linkages of corporate governance with strategy and firm performance. He has published in the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, Journal of Management, and European Management Journal. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Management and the Journal of Management Governance, and on the International Advisory Board of the Journal of Enterprising Culture. He earned a Ph.D. in Management from Texas A&M University.

Rishikesha T. Krishnan

Rishikesha T. Krishnan is a Professor of Corporate Strategy & Policy at IIM Bangalore. His research interests are in strategy, innovation, and competitiveness. Rishikesha Krishnan has degrees from IIT Kanpur, Stanford University, and IIM Ahmedabad. He has been a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Panel on Intellectual Property, R&D, Technology and Innovation, the Advisory Council of CII’s National Innovation Mission and on the jury of Nasscom’s innovation awards. Rishikesha Krishnan has been a member of government committees to review the performance of the National Innovation Foundation, and to study “The Future of Aviation and Aeronautics in India.” He has just completed an external review of the plan schemes of India’s Department of Scientific & Industrial Research.

K. Narayanan

K. Narayanan obtained his Ph.D in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi, India, and carried out Post-doctoral research at Institute of Advanced Studies United Nations University, Tokyo, Japan during 2000-01. His research interests span the areas of industrial economics, international business, economics of technological change and innovation, Environmental Economics, and Development Economics. He has a number of publications in the field of industrial competitiveness, technology transfer, ICT and trade. K. Narayanan is currently Professor of Economics at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and President, Academy of International Business India Chapter.

Bolko von Oetinger

Bolko von Oetinger is the founding member of the first BCG office in Germany. Bolko von Oetinger directed the Kronberg Conferences, BCG's renowned strategy conferences for senior executives in Germany. He also served as head of BCG's worldwide marketing operations. In 1998 he founded the firm's Strategy Institute, which has concentrated its research with academic and scientific institutions about the nature of strategy. The major focus of his client work has been the question of renewal, innovation, corporate vision and organization. Bolko von Oetinger has written several articles and published books on strategy, strategic thinking, and innovation. He received his doctorate from the Faculty of Economics and Social Affairs at the Freie Universität Berlin. On July 1, 2008 he retired from BCG and serves the firm as a Senior Advisor.
